Embark on a transformative journey with the Anglican Chaplaincy at the University of Glasgow (part of the university’s vibrant Interfaith Chaplaincy) – a curated series of special services during the 2025-2026 academic year. Sung by the gifted musicians of the University of Glasgow Chapel Choir and led by clergy from St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow, each evening event lasts approximately one hour. Delve into Scripture, explore spirituality, and embrace the evocative power of music. All are welcome regardless of background, religious affiliation, or connection with the University.

The Feast of Simon and Jude
What made people follow Jesus and spend their lives preaching about him to a hostile world? This service of Choral Evensong will reflect on the lives of two of the apostles – Simon and Jude who were together in life proclaiming the good news about Jesus and were together in death when they were martyred.

Martinmas – The Feast of Martin of Tours
Remember the soldier who gave half his coat to a beggar? That was Martin of Tours. But who was he and why were terms named after him in this University and other medieval institutions in Scotland and further afield? This service will explore his life and why he is worth remembering today. This Choral Mass features gorgeous Choral Music from the Chapel Choir.
